Student Media Leaders Chosen
The Truman State Media Board has selected new leadership for the 2008-09 school year.  Detours, a full-color travel publication, will be headed by Rebecca Moser.  KTRM (FM), which recently upgraded its studio and transmission facilities to HD (digital) broadcasting, is under the direction of Station Manager, Harry Burson.  Dan Rettke has been chosen Executive Producer of News 36, KTRM-TV.  Julie Williams has been selected as Editor of the Truman weekly newspaper, The Index.  TSU's literary publication, Windfall, is under the editorship of Daniel West.  The Board, composed of faculty and students, meets yearly to interview and select candidates for student media.
